As a practice dedicated to providing comprehensive dental services to everyone, Optimum Smile Dental offers a NO GAP payment scheme to patients with recognised Australian private health insurers. The following treatment and preventative dental services are eligible for NO GAP payment at Optimum Smile Dental:
- Digital X-rays
- Dental Checkup
- Dental Cleaning
NO GAP payment at Optimum Smile Dental means that as long as your health insurance covers your general dental services, you will not pay anything out of pocket to your dentist. There is no need for you to spend a single cent from your own money if your health fund covers each treatment and you have not reached your yearly benefit limit – no additional payments, fees, and charges whatever
Terms and Conditions for NO GAP Payment
- Please note that our no-gap policy only applies if your health fund’s dental limit has not been reached.
- Each no gap item number must have an “approved” description and a benefit value to be termed as no gap.
- We are not responsible for understanding the terms, conditions and limits of your health fund policy. You are responsible for that, which can be found by contacting your health fund provider.
- No-gap policies apply only to patients who show their health fund card on the day of treatment and ensure that the card is in good working order, is not expired, and that all payments are timely.
- We retain the right to charge you the full price cost of your treatment if your health fund is inactive, not contactable, or no card is presented at the time of treatment.
